Exclusive! ‘Voice’ Contestants’ Finale Duet Partners Announced
Wow, "The Voice" is really bringing out the big guns for this Tuesday's Season 3 finale. In addition to already-announced performances by A-listers Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Kelly Clarkson, and the Killers, Yahoo!'s Reality Rocks can now exclusively reveal the exciting special guests that will be dueting with top three finalists Cassadee Pope, Terry McDermott, and Nicholas David.
Dueting with Cassadee will be her girl-pop-punk idol, Avril Lavigne. Cassadee has already performed two Avril songs, "I'm With You" and "My Happy Ending," this "Voice" season. Which Avril hit will the two take on together?
Performing with classic rocker Terry will be Grammy-winning guitar legend Peter Frampton. It'll be like "McDermott Comes Alive" up in there! Will Peter whip out his Framptone talkbox for this special occasion? Let's hope so.
And finally, throwback soulman Nicholas will sing with Grammy-winning R&B icon Smokey Robinson. Considering how delighted Nicholas looked when he got to meet soul legend Bill Withers on the "Voice" set earlier this season, I can only imagine the expression that'll be on his face when he actually shares the stage with Smokey.
The contestants' duet songs are being kept tightly under wraps, but we do know what tunes the other musical guests will be performing Tuesday:
Rihanna - "Diamonds"
Bruno Mars - "When I Was Your Man"
Kelly Clarkson - "Catch My Breath"
The Killers - "Here With Me"
Which "Voice" duet or performance are you most excited to see Tuesday night?
