10 Most Memorable Super Bowl Halftime Shows

Super Bowl XLVI is right around the corner and what better way to get ready than counting down the most memorable halftime shows? This year Madonna will take the stage and debut her new single, "Give Me All Your Luvin,'" with Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. Take a look at some of the past shows that knocked our socks off!

10. 1999 Halftime Show featuring Stevie Wonder, Gloria Estefan and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
As one of the few singers to actually perform live at the Super Bowl, Wonder brought down the stadium with special guests Gloria Estefan and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Stevie, the samba and stilts, what more could you ask for?

9. 2009 Halftime Show featuring Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band
Springsteen put the rock back in rock n' roll with a medley featuring the E Street Band.

8. 2003 Halftime Show featuring Shania Twain, No Doubt and Sting
Representing the Canucks, Shania Twain performed with No Doubt and Sting during the Super Bowl XXXVII halftime show.

7. 2007 Halftime Show featuring Prince
The atmosphere was full of electric lightning and "Purple Rain" as Prince performed during the halftime show at Super Bowl XLI.

3. 1993 Halftime Show featuring Michael Jackson
Leave it to Michael Jackson to "Heal The World/Make It A Better Place/For You And For Me/And The Entire Human Race." His performance of "Heal The World" welcomed hundreds of children to the field in a message of peace, acceptance and love.
