Carly Rose Sonenclar performs Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” on “The X Factor”

"The X Factor" contestant Carly Rose Sonenclar made us proud on the Nov. 14 episode performing Celine Dion's mega-hit "My Heart Will Go On" from the epic 1997 film "Titanic."

The 13-year-old's mentor, judge Britney Spears, chose the tune for her little songbird on the show's diva inspired evening, which also featured contestants performing tracks by world renowned artists like Beyoncé, Madonna, Mariah Carey and Alicia Keys.

"You are a little diva," Spears told Sonenclar when she assigned her the Dion classic. Later predicting the outcome of the performance, the 30-year-old judge said, "I feel like it's such a powerful song for her. She will be just as good as Ms. Celine Dion herself. I think it'll be a killer."

In one of her most mature performances on the show, Spears' "little diva" took on the powerful ballad with grace and ease. So much so, that every judge on the panel seemed to be shaking in their proverbial boots after hearing her reach that fantastic note at the end.

"Britney, it pains me to say this...but we could be looking at the winner," judge L.A. Reid said. "Really good."

"You are so good," judge Demi Lovato added. "Honestly, it just doesn't make sense. I don't believe that that's your voice. I feel like Celine Dion is here and she's hiding."

After making sure that the little songstress was in fact 13 years old, show creator and judge Simon Cowell said, "I don't believe you're a human being. I actually don't because you can't do that at 13."

He also said, "Your control on that song, and, I thought I was going to hate it, and that note at the end, was absolutely incredible. I mean, incredible."

This is the second time this week "My Heart Will Go On" got the singing competition show treatment as "The Voice" contestant Sylvia Yacoub performed the track on Nov. 12, which saved her from elimination.

Hopefully Sonenclar's rendition will also keep her safe for another week.
