Ed Sheeran performs Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble”

While we love hearing Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble” remixed with a goat, we think Ed Sheeran’s cover of the track is pretty great.

The English artist performed his rendition of the tune while appearing on the “Hamish & Andy Business Brunch” radio show and also performed Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ track featuring Mary Lambert, “Same Love.”

Fans seem to enjoy Sheeran’s take on “I Knew You Were Trouble” and have left comments like, “The thing is that he's not even screaming or adding a massive amout (sic) of style technics. His voice is just naturally beautiful like i could listen to him for hours straight.”

The 22-year-old singer will join Swift on her “Red Tour 2013” when it kicks off next week and even though he has recently denied that he is dating Swift, it looks like he is still her No. 1 fan.

"I'm a fan of Taylor's, not just her work but her ethics and that she writes her hits herself,” he told MTV News. “She's probably the only woman in her position in the industry who writes 100 percent of her hits."

While on the road, Sheeran will be recording his follow up to “+,” which might already have a 2014 release date.

"I've got around 26 songs for the next record, and I've got another nine months on the road to keep writing as well, so the record's definitely on his way," he told Billboard. "I can tell you it will probably come out in February 2014, and I'm gonna be recording and writing it over the whole Taylor tour."

He also said, "Most of the first record was written when I was 17, 18…So I've definitely evolved in the way I write songs and the way I perform, the whole mindspace. So it's just going to be a little more developed, I think."
