Gwyneth Paltrow impersonates Jay-Z, Kanye West, Beyoncé and Chris Martin on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’

Gwyneth Paltrow showed off her vocal chops during her interview on Friday’s episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and was as adorable as ever as she tried to impersonate the likes of Jay-Z, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Kanye West, Beyoncé and her famous musician husband, Chris Martin.

According to host Ellen DeGeneres, the 40-year-old “Iron Man 3” star and Martin like to play a game that involves each of them will take turns imitating singers while the other has to guess who the artist is.

Paltrow, who was recently named the World’s Most Beautiful Woman by People magazine, chose to perform Jay-Z’s “Dirt Off Your Shoulder,” Macklemore & Lewis’s “Thrift Shop,” West’s “Clique,” and thoroughly impressed us with her rendition of Beyoncé’s “Halo.”

When it came time for Paltrow to impersonate her husband, she had trouble, saying that it was a “really surreal moment” before choosing to cover the Coldplay track “Paradise.”

It’s not surprising that DeGeneres would choose power couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé to showcase during this game with the actress, as it’s known that Paltrow and Martin are quite close to them both.

In February, Beyoncé revealed details about their friendship, telling E! News that Paltrow was “incredible.”

“She's a great friend on every level,” the singer said. “I think for us, protecting our daughters is so important and … keeping things on our own terms, so I will still be protective and make sure [Blue Ivy] has a childhood and a great time."

Let’s not forget that Paltrow also spent last New Year’s Eve with her husband at Jay-Z’s Barclays Center concert in Brooklyn, and it looked like she was having a great time dancing on the side of the stage.
