8. Arcade Fire wins Album of the Year
When Arcade Fire took home the Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 2011, no one knew who they were. The band shocked audiences by triumphing over major artists like Eminem, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Lady Antebellum. Winning the Juno Award in the same category confirmed what every Canadian already knew; that indie bands rock!

7. Shania Twain is inducted to the Canadian Music Hall of Fame
Bryan Adams said it best when he introduced Twain as the next artist to be inducted to the Canadian Music Hall of Fame during the 2011 Juno Awards broadcast, "She is a Canadian treasure."

6. Alanis Morissette goes "nude" hosting the Juno Awards
After Morissette was forced to change the lyrics to create a more radio friendly version of her song "Everything," the songstress showed the crowd at the 2005 Juno Awards a thing or two about censorship by stripping down to a flesh toned body suit.

5. Drake's "Old Money" Juno Awards skit
Proving that our senior citizens are the original gangsters, Drake stayed in character while busting a move, popping champagne and delivering diamond encrusted dentures at a retirement centre in a comedic sketch during the 2011 Juno Awards.

4. K'Naan and special guests perform "Wavin' Flag"
Joined by Drake, Justin Bieber and Nikki Yanofsky, K'Naan brought the 2010 Juno Awards audience together singing his song of peace that raised more than $1 million for the victims of the Haitian earthquake.

2. Neil Young receives humanitarian award
