Lady Gaga’s friendly Twitter threat to Carly Rae Jepsen

Lady Gaga has some choice words for Canadian "Call Me Maybe" sensation Carly Rae Jepsen after the 26-year-old broke Mother Monster's record for having the longest running number one single by a female Interscope Records recording artist.

"@carlyraejepson [sic] I SEE you just swooped in and broke my BORN THIS WAY record of the most weeks at #1," Gaga tweeted last week. "DONT GET COMFORTABLE IM COMING FOR YOU."

According to Billboard, Jepsen's infectious song of the summer recently had its seventh week at number one on the Hot 100 chart overtaking Gaga's record of a six-week reign at the top with her song "Born This Way" back in 2011.

While Jepsen has yet to respond to the tweet, she might have more to worry about than the wrath of Gaga's Little Monsters as rumours of naked pictures and a sex tape staring the Mission, B.C., native have recently flooded the Internet.

In addition, actor Will Ferrell has taken it upon himself to express the sentiment that many of us are feeling by leaving a handwritten note about the Canadian's track after his appearance on CBS's "This Morning" that read, "Stop the 'Call Me…Maybe.' I'm sick of it. All my best, Will Ferrell."
