Little girl offers YouTube tutorial on beatboxing

Beatboxing is no easy feat; however, this little girl’s tutorial on how to learn the skill is quite a treat. Soon, you too will know how to drop a beat.

In her latest video tutorial, “Full-Time Kid” Mya uses the phrase “boots and cats” to teach us how to beatbox. She makes the vocal technique look easy as she raps the classic children’s song "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" over her own beat.

The practice of using the footwear-and-feline phrase as a method for beatboxing is a common one and was demonstrated last year in a cool viral video by YouTube user AfferatteDesign called “Boots and Cats.”

In addition to showing us her adorable rapping skills, the youngster also choreographed her own dance moves in the clip, and viewers seem to have enjoyed her lesson, leaving comments on the video like, “Nice! A star in the making!”

Wrote another: “My teeth hurt whilst watching this..... Just soooo Sweet !!!”

Mya isn’t the only child who’s a beatboxing pro. Check out more young beatboxers below.
