Taylor Swift just can't get away from having her heart stomped on and writing about it.

The singer is currently working on her fourth album, which she says is centered around heartbreak.

She tells Vogue, "The only way that I can feel better about myself—pull myself out of that awful pain of losing someone—is writing songs about it to get some sort of clarity."

Her past attempts at gaining clarity after heartbreak, appear in her songs "Dear John" and "The Story of Us," which were written about her split with singer/songwriter John Mayer. Now she tells the magazine that, "There's just been this earth-shattering, not recent, but absolute crash-and-burn heartbreak, and that will turn out to be what the next album is about."

One can only imagine whom she is referring to when she says, "not recent." The songs on her new album could be about any of her famous past suitors including Joe Jonas, Adam Young, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer and Jake Gyllenhaal. However, she tells Vogue that she is happy she won't be crying during the holidays this year. Coincidentally, last Christmas she was breaking up with Gyllenhaal. Could her album be a love note dedicated to him?

But Swift sure isn't heartbroken about her new projects. The singer co-wrote a song for the upcoming The Hunger Games movie soundtrack and has landed the role of Eponine in the film adaptation of Les Misérables. She will be in good company with A-List actors Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe, Helena Bonham Carter and Hugh Jackman who have been confirmed for the adaptation.

With an elegant and fresh new look, she graces the February issue of Vogue and tells the magazine, "I fret about the future. What my next move should be. What the move after that should be. How I am going to sustain this. How do I evolve." So far, she has evolved into a multi-platinum artist and is in top demand.

While we patiently wait for her to finish her fourth album, check out her new duet with the Civil Wars appearing on The Hunger Games movie soundtrack. She recently performed this new tune with the duo to a sold out audience at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. We can't wait to see what this year has in store for this young, multi-faceted artist who doesn't mind working through her pain with all of her fans watching.
