Taylor Swift performs ‘Hey Porsche’ with Nelly on stage

Taylor Swift and Nelly took the stage together during the country/pop singer’s “Red Tour” stop in St. Louis on March 19, teaming up to perform the rapper’s new tune “Hey Porsche” in his hometown.

These two sharing a stage might seem like an unlikely combination, but the end result is fantastic.

Buzzfeed points out that Swift and Nelly performed together before at a 2011 concert in Houston, and the 23-year-old Swift has also covered the rapper’s track “Just A Dream” while on her “Speak Now Tour.”

Also, let’s not forget that Nelly has previously collaborated with some of the music industry’s biggest pop and country stars, including Justin Timberlake on “Work It,” Tim McGraw on “Over and Over,” and with Christina Aguilera on “Tilt Ya Head Back."

He has also showcased his personal music style appearing with Aerosmith, Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige and ‘N Sync during the Super Bowl XXXV halftime show, and was even featured on the remixed version of ‘N Sync’s 2002 hit track “Girlfriend.”

This isn’t the first time Swift has had another artist perform with her during her newly begun “Red Tour.”

On opening night, the singer brought out her supporting act Ed Sheeran to join her for their duet, “Everything Has Changed,” which appears on her latest album, “Red.”

“Swift and Sheeran serenade each other on this sweet duet about the sudden impact of new romance,” Billboard wrote in their review of the song. “Thematically, this is Swift at her most familiar and clichéd, but Sheeran's tender harmonies lend the song some much-needed depth.”
