Brandy on Whitney Houston’s Death: “My Heart Is Destroyed”

Whitney Houston, Brandy Us WeeklyBrandy spent the evening of her 33rd birthday in tears.

Earlier that afternoon, the singer and actress' longtime inspiration and mentor Whitney Houston passed away suddenly at the age of 48. Houston's body is expected to be flown back east for a rumored funeral in Newark, New Jersey, where she was born in 1963. She is survived by her daughter, Bobbi Kristina, 18, and her mother, Cissy.

I cant believe or even understand what has happend....when I was lil watching her on the preacher's wife and cinderella she was magical and I thought I want her to be my fairly godmother. I thought people like that never died and I never thought she would. I loved the way she sings it brings joy to my heart and when she hit those notes chills ran down my spine. I am fighting back tears I didnt know Ms. Houston personally but she was human just like me and sang like a godess. It really hard to believe that she is gone man but you know what My Fairly Godmother lives on in my heart and your too. So don't cry she wouldn't want us to do that....sing a song of happiness because she is in a better place. Rest In Peace Ms. Whitney Houston gone but NEVER forgotten.

U must put him at the four front God said in his word that he will Not have No one or anything before him, We must seek God in all things Matthew 6:33 , when we put GOD ON THE BACK BURRNER, THEN JOHN 10:10 COMES IN, So watch at all times because he is out there seeking who he can Devour! The is why God say be not Decieved! Don't list dating as they were friends.........................If there was a romantic relationship or friends with benefits relationship then that was there's. She was gorgeous and any man of any age would see here as beautiful. Let's give her respect now...............biggest lose to the world. What an inspiration............etc. etc...............Very sad to lose her..............My heart goes out to her daughter and family as I know this is painful at this time. It appears to be an accident of taking a medication that didn't mix with alcohol. I think she was trying to relax with a glass of wine or other and the 2 didn't mix and unfortunately relaxed too much as to drown.
    We love you Whitney.....................

The article says she is survived by her daughter Bobbi and her mother....... what about her brothers, Gary and Michael? Geez, you would think whoever wrote the article might know that!

I have nothing but respect for late Whitney Houston. Her voice was beautiful, yes, that of an angel. May she rest in peace, and may her family find solice in the years they had with her. AND truly who gives a flying flip how she died, the fact is that she is gone and now her family needs to heal. God Bless you all.

ALL YOU ALL WITH YOUR NEGATIVITY SHOULD JUST LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE THE RUDE AND MEAN COMMENTS THAT YOU LEAVE ARE VERY HARSH AND UNACCEPTABLE, PLEASE STOP MAKING SNIDE REMARKS ABOUT A PERSON YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT. CAUSE YOU CAN NEVER FULL WHITNEY'S SHOES. NO ONE KNOWS WHAT SHE WAS GOING THOUGH OR HOW SHE WAS FEELING AT THE TIME OF HER DEMISE. SO KEPT YOUR OPINIONS TO YOURSELF AND EVEN IF YOU HAVE THE FACT KEEP THEM TO YOURSELF CAUSE MANY OF US DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU THINK HAPPENED WE DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO WHITNEY HOUSTON. STOP BARKING UP THE WRONG TREE. BE THOUGHTFUL OF THE DEVASTATION OF HER DAUGHTER. PLEASE I URGE ALL NEGATIVE PEOPLE TO JUST LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE.

I am sure it is incredibly tough of Brandy to lose her dear friend to such sudden tragedy. Brandy is so highly appreciated for her gift, and her lasting contribution to music as well as for being a supporter of Whitney Houston. I hope the media will respect Brandy's right to honor and to pay tribute to her dear friend, Whitney Houston.
