Whitney Houston’s Friends Respond To Rumors About Bobbi Kristina’s Well-Being

According to The Daily Beast, Bobbi Kristina disappeared and the family was looking for her before Houston's burial Sunday at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, N.J.

Whitney Houston's godmother Darlene Love denied rumors that Bobbi Kristina had been missing.

"Not true. No true," Love told Access Hollywood Live Monday. "She was with us and she was with the family the whole time… She's been with the family these last couple of days. We all know where she is, she's not missing."

Reports have also suggested that Bobbi Kristina was using drugs and that her family wanted her to go to rehab. Houston's good friend BeBe Winans, who sang and spoke at the funeral, said he was unaware of talks about Bobbi Kristina receiving treatment for drug use.

"I don't know anything about rehab," Winans said. "I can tell you from being around her, pretty much all her life, and at the same time being around her in this dark valley, she's doing wonderful. She's doing wonderful."

Winans added that he understood Bobbi Kristina's pain and offered his support. "So wherever she needs to walk, the positive thing is that she's not walking alone. We will be by her side," he said.

Winans said that Houston supported Bobbi Kristina having a good relationship with her father, R&B singer Bobby Brown, who left the funeral after 15 minutes, citing problems with his seating arrangements.

"Even when they decided to divorce… she told Bobbi Kristina, 'He will always be your father. You will need your father,'" Winans said. "And no matter what happens, she will have her father because Whitney's family understands that."

Love said the family did not yet know where Bobbi Kristina would live. "I have a feeling that she's going to end up being close to the family," she said. "Most of… Whitney's family is still in New Jersey, and that's where Whitney was off and on… I don't know where she's going to end up."

First of all, that's "the media's" job! You people act like the media is just made up of random people running around with cameras and microphones. THEIR JOB IS TO GET A STORY FOR THEIR PAPER! TO COVER WHATEVER IS HOT AT THE MOMENT! So get over it people.

I agree with all the comments that the media needs to leave this child alone. She has just suffered a devastating loss, because when mama is gone that's it, we don't get but one mother, so htey need to let the girl grieve and heal..Bobbi Kris I am praying for you babygirl.

Really? Time heals the loss of a parent? I didn't get that memo; I still miss my mom, and I'm 48 years old; she died 9 years ago... she was demented the last 10 years of her life, so essentially SHE has been gone for 19 years. How old are you, Oodles? Old enough to have some experience with the chaos of life? :) I wish YOU the best. Don't wait for time to heal anything; grieve, and do the healing needed, and move on the best ya can... :) HAGD.

Oodlesofnoodles, you're right, " time eventually heals all wound" like you said but, when you lost your mom, your father or a child, time just stood forever. I lost my father last April (almost 1 year) and until now I can't stop crying. It's like a piece of my was missing. So, it will take time to Whitney's daugther to recover from this big lost. Wishing her the best.

I lost my parents, brothers and sister, and worst of all, I lost first husband, father of my four children, 24 years ago. You NEVER get over grieving......you get thru it thru your children, but the memories are still there.

Don't you people with bad comments have anything else to do? Leave the girl and family alone. Leave Whitney out of it too. She's in peace now.......She was the greatest singer and will be miss dearly. RIP whitney. we will always love you and your family......

who cares what shes doing? mind your own buisness, especially if your someone who just wants to make a comment about her appearance and say rude things. atleast if you have something to say about this article, let it come from a good heart and hope the best for her. if not than just shutup! mind your own buisness, just like you would want others to do for you.

My suggestion - go to college. That will keep her busy and she can meet new people and learn new things.

I'm really tired of all the snarky comments about Whitney's drug problems. Listen people, at least she was brave enough to admit them not to just her family and friends but to all of America during her interview with Barbara Walters. "Ye Without Sin, Cast the First Stone" and I just wonder how many of you who so enjoy posting really shameful comments would have the intestinal fortitude to admit any of your own past transgressions to your family and friends. I don't know a single person who walks the Earth, who doesn't have a few of their own skeletons rattling around their closets. Would any of you have even an ounce of the personal strength to do what she did? At least she was attempting to get help, and by the sounds of it, she was in the process of recovery! The cause of her death was likely tied to prescriptions, which most of us have on occasion needed to take ourselves. Hopefully the lesson learned by this tragedy is to be careful when taking these drugs, not to mix alcohol, or for that matter even cough syrup (which contains a lot of alcohol) because the same could happen to those you love too. It was likely the combination of the two that relaxed her to the point where her breathing was suppressed and she died. In the end, A daughter lost her mother, a mother lost her daughter, and that is going to change their lives forever. How Sad. My prayers for peace are sent to her family. May Whitney sing with the angels and rest in peace.
