Backstreet Boys song “As Long As You Love Me” gets quirky acoustic cover by Ordinarius

Brazilian vocal group Ordinarius has released a cool and quirky rendition of the Backstreet Boys' hit "As Long As You Love Me" and it is so good that it recently caught the attention of one BSB member in particular, Kevin Richardson.

Richardson retweeted a link to the clip and soon it was seen by other members of the band who tweeted from the official BSB Twitter account, "WOW! We're blown away by this 'As Long As You Love Me' cover by ORDINARIUS!"

The rendition totally shelves the whole boy band feel and instead opts for what sounds like hints of Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat mixed with some old school barbershop chorus soul.

Currently at almost 23,000 views (and we expect a lot more in the hours to come,) the video has received a lot of love from viewers who have left comments like, "One of the best covers of BSB's song I've ever seen on YouTube :D," and, "This is much better than the original."

Released in 1997, "As Long As You Love Me" was the second single off the band's second album (in Canada) "Backstreet's Back" and is still one of their most notable songs to date.

After all, doesn't everyone remember the chair dance?
