A 13-year-old student from Westchester, New York, Sonenclar attended the Providence, Rhode Island, auditions on last night's part two of the season two premiere of "The X Factor" and completely slayed the competition with her rendition of Nina Simone's "Feeling Good."

"I love music," she said before taking the stage. "I just sing from my heart and I just feel great [and] my parents are extremely supportive. My mom is a graphic designer and my dad is a copywriter, but I want to be a superstar."

Showing her support for her daughter, Sonenclar's mother Terri said, "If she gets four yeses, I'll be the proudest mom in the world, but I already am."

Before she reached "The X Factor's" stage, Sonenclar made her mark on Broadway performing as 'Chloe' in the 2011 show "WONDERLAND The Musical" with additional credits in shows like "Les Miserables" and on the PBS children's program "The Electric Company."

She has also appeared in feature films like "The Nanny Diaries" and "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants II" in addition to being involved with charitable causes like being an ambassador for the Starlight Children's Foundation.

Sonenclar's experience definitely showed last night as she delivered an unbelievable rendition of Simone's 1965 classic track (Michael Bublé has his own version) prompting the entire audience to stand and applaud before she was even finished and made all four judges, even Simon Cowell, give her a standing ovation.

"Wow, Miss Thang, you are a little diva," judge Britney Spears said before giving her a "Yes" vote.

"Honey, you may be 13, but your soul is old," judge L.A. Reid said. Later adding, "Remember this day everybody: a star was born."

Needless to say, she got a "Yes" vote from not only Spears but the other three judges as well, which means that we will be seeing a lot of this tween in the shows to come.

Taking to her Twitter account after the episode aired, Sonenclar wrote, "This has been one of the best nights of my life. Thanks for all the support everybody! :)"
