The musician/actor was on deck to accept the Entertainer of the Year award and brought a gorgeous woman who was not fiancé Jessica Biel as his surprise date: Marine combat instructor, Cpl. Kelsey De Santis.

De Santis and Timberlake previously met when she extended a YouTube invitation to the once "Sexiest Man Alive" asking him to join her at the Marine Corps Ball last November.

The former 'NSYNC member agreed to be her date and later wrote on his website that it "turned out to be one of the most moving evenings I've ever had."

During his acceptance speech, Timberlake expressed his gratitude to De Santis, saying, "Thank you for inviting me — even for one night — to something so meaningful." Adding, "While you were enlisting, I was a put in a boy band. You remember that, I'm trying to forget it."

In addition to mentioning her during his acceptance speech, the 31-year-old also shared his love for the troops, and especially De Santis, writing on his website after the ball, "To all of you that serve every day for us... Ensuring our freedom, I say: My deepest gratitude to you. I've met so many of my heroes... From Michael Jordan to Michael Jackson. And, nothing makes me feel more honour and pride than when I get to meet one of you. Last night changed my life and I will never forget it."
