Kreesha Turner's wardrobe traveling secrets
On the red carpet, R&B chanteuse Kreesha Turner told Yahoo! Canada Music that she hadn't quite figured out how to sit down in her spiky ensemble. In addition, when she finally made it to the backstage press area at the MMVAs, she revealed to the media how she was able to travel with her outfit, saying, "On the way here, I wore jeans and a t-shirt. Then once I arrived, I put on everything."

Nelly Furtado's nomination query
Part of a journalist's job on the red carpet at the MMVAs is knowing what every artist is nominated for. But, what do you do when the artist doesn't believe you? Well, in the case of Yahoo! Canada Music and Nelly Furtado, you present your paperwork to the nominee, of course. Check out a photo of Furtado double-checking with us that her video "Big Hoops" is nominated for Director of the Year here.

Why LMFAO felt that they had to censor themselves
When we spoke with MuchMusic VJ Lauren Toyota last week, she revealed that MMVA co-hosts LMFAO came to the table with a lot of input for the show. However, not everything was approved and the funky twosome of Redfoo and Skyblu also held back a little when it came to their skit with "Modern Family's" Rico Rodriguez.

Speaking to Yahoo! Canada Music, Redfoo said, "We made some edits because with Rico, we had a lot of things to say about his mother [played by actress Sofia Vergara] on the show. And, it could have been funny, but when you see a young kid like that and he's so cool and funny and great at shuffling and being the Shuffle Bot and his spirit was so great, we had to censor ourselves, just because we were in the presence of youth."

He adds, "Yes we're the party kings but we're also very responsible and we recognize that we're adults and the kids are the kids. Rico was one of our favourite [presenters] and he's an amazing dude, so we kind of censored ourselves."
