5) Lights sends us to the moon with her astronaut date
If you could choose anyone to walk the MMVA red carpet with, who would it be? For electro-pop sensation Lights, the dream guy hiding underneath the astronaut façade would be "Pirates of the Caribbean" star, Johnny Depp.
4) Katy Perry arrives looking scrumptious in an ice cream truck
During her first appearance at the MMVAs back in 2010, "Teenage Dream" queen Katy Perry created her very own Candy Land on stage performing her hit "California Gurls" after hitting the red carpet in an ice cream truck.
3) Simple Plan gets physical arriving in a pink limo
Days before their latest album "Get Your Heart On" was released, the men of Simple Plan arrived at the 2011 MMVAs in pink limousine wearing outfits that left little to the imagination.
2) Marianas Trench welcomes the Western Mustang Band
Before they were seen fighting ninjas, hot tubbing and rolling in giant hamster balls at the MMVAs, punk-pop outfit Marianas Trench invited the University of Western Ontario's award winning marching and pep band to assist them with their exciting entrance.

Obviously in need of some saucy support on the red carpet, Hedley decided to bring their own security detail in the form of gorgeous police officers to the 2006 MMVAs.
