(2/7/03, 5 p.m. ET) -- Queens Of The Stone Age, Audioslave, and Jane's Addiction are looking to bring the Lollapalooza tour back from the dead this summer, according to sources.
The traveling festival's last hurrah was back in 1997 when Korn, Tool, Tricky, and Snoop Dogg headlined. Details for the rumored return of Lollapalooza are still being worked out, and also rumored to be on this year's bill is Incubus, Jurassic 5, and Interpol.
Calls placed to each band to confirm attendance at the festival were not returned at press time.
Lollapalooza, the child of Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell, was a mainstay of the 1990s and gave rise to Nine Inch Nails, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, and others.
