(5/6/03, 3 p.m. ET) -- The 100th victim has died as a result of the fire at the Great White show in Rhode Island earlier this year. Pamela Gruttadauria died Sunday (May 4) at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where she'd been in critical condition since the blaze on February 20 at The Station nightclub in West Warwick, Rhode Island, according to AP. Two hundred people were injured in the fire. Five are still in the hospital; one patient is still listed in critical condition.
It's widely believed that Great White's pyrotechnics caused the fire at the Rhode Island venue. A grand jury investigation is still underway.
Great White singer Jack Russell and lead guitarist Mark Kendall are reportedly planning a summer tour to raise money for the families of the victims. Russell and Kendall played a fundraiser in Los Angeles last week for Great White guitarist Ty Longley, who died in the blaze. The proceeds from the show will go to a trust fund that's been set up for Longley's unborn child, who is due in early August.
Workers were on the former site of The Station with bulldozers on Monday (May 5), getting ready to demolish what's left of the structure. Local officials told AP that once the foundation is collapsed, the site will be covered with fill to make the area safe.
