Donnas, Flaming Lips, John Mayer, The Music Set For 'How To Deal' Soundtrack

(5/8/03, 3 p.m. ET) -- The Donnas, Flaming Lips, John Mayer, and The Music are among the artists contributing to the July 8 release of the original motion picture soundtrack to the forthcoming film, How To Deal. The album features a cover of Cat Steven's "Wild World" by Beth Orton, as well as the original version. The first single off the collection will be "Billy S.," a new song written by 14-year-old newcomer Skye Sweetnam.
The movie opens July 18, and stars Mandy Moore as Halley, a high school student disillusioned with love after seeing dysfunctional relationships around her.
