Evanescence's 'Fallen' Hits Double Platinum

(7/2/03, 1 p.m. ET) -- Evanescence's Wind-up debut album, Fallen, has now been certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association Of America (RIAA) for sales of two million records. The album's sales have been spurred by the success of the single "Bring Me To Life," which is at Number 13 on the on the Billboard modern rock charts. The follow-up single, "Going Under," is now at Number 26 on the charts, as well.

Evanescence is preparing for the Nintendo Fusion Tour, which brings together interactive gaming and entertainment in one event. The 25-date tour kicks off in Los Angeles on August 4. Opening bands include Cold, Revis, Cauterize, and Finger Eleven.
