The Strokes Go Back To Original Producer

(5/29/03, 10 a.m. ET) -- The Strokes entered into a New York City studio this week to start work on the follow-up to last year's breakthrough album, Is This It. The band had originally signed on with producer Nigel Godrich, known for his work with Radiohead, but when it wasn't going smoothly in the studio, the Strokes called Michael Raphael, the man who produced Is This It to take over.

The Strokes are set for the Summer Sonic festival in Japan, which takes place August 2 and 3.
