(7/17/03, 7 a.m. ET) -- The Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E. has recruited some of rap's biggest names for their comeback set, West Koasta Nostra, which will be released on October 7. The group was joined by Eminem and Cypress Hill's B-Real for "911," a song about the state of hip-hop.

Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E. member Godfather talked about the contribution by Eminem who also produced the music for "911," "It's all about mutual respect. He sees the struggle we go through and he wants to give back. A lot of people want to pay him big money to do this, but he feels us."

West Koasta Nostra will also feature guest appearances by Kurupt, Mack 10, W.C., Knoc-Turn'Al, Mr. Short Khop, Crooked I, and Kokane. The set was produced by Battlecat. The first single from the set is "Bang On" featuring Mack 10.

Following the release of West Koasta Nostra, the group plans to release a set called Good Times Bad Times, which was recorded in 1992 but shelved. The album includes guest appearances by George Clinton, Ice Cube, Ice-T, and Living Colour.

The Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E. consist of the six Samoan brothers including Danny "O.M.B." Devoux, David "E.K.A." Devoux, Donald "Don L." Devoux, Paul "Ganxsta Ridd" Devoux, Roscoe "Rosco" Devoux, and Ted "Godfather" Devoux.

The group released its debut set, New Funky Nation, in 1990.
