(1/26/01, 10 a.m. ET) - Lit recently cut a version of the Twisted Sister classic "I Wanna Rock" for a forthcoming Twisted Sister tribute album, to be released by Koch Records. The track will also feature vocals by Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider, who appeared in Lit's video for "Zip-Loc."
Snider told LAUNCH what he thought about the video. "I played the father," he said. "When they called me up, at first I was first taken aback, saying, 'A father?' I'm [thinking], Dude, you've been a father for the last 18 years. I've got four kids. And I think that's pretty freakin' funny. I pride myself on being self-deprecating, and I don't take myself overly serious. It was fun."
Other artists on the Twisted Sister tribute include Sevendust, Motorhead, and Twisted Sister itself.
Last year, Snider released his last solo album, Never Let The Bastards Wear You Down. He also recently started filming Strangeland 2, the sequel to his cult-horror film.
