Ice Cube Plans To Record Again

(9/6/02, 10 a.m. ET) -- Ice Cube has found success acting in, writing, and producing movies, but he still plans to return to his roots in hip-hop music and record another album. The rapper--whose next film, Barbershop, opens September 13--recently discussed the state of his recording career.

Ice Cube told LAUNCH, "Right now, I'm in the process of changing record labels. I left Priority. There's a little time frame before I can do another record--that was a part of the whole little split-up. I should be out sometime next summer."
