(4/30/98) - Blondie, one of the punk/ new wave success stories of the '70s, has re-formed with original members Deborah Harry, Chris Stein, Jimmy Destri and Clem Burke, leaving guitarist Frank Infante on the sideline.

The band has been working on a new album, No Exit due out on Beyond Music in the Fall. A world tour coinciding with the release is planned.

For those who can't wait, Blondie will also appear on a handful of Lilith Fair tour dates during the summer. The band is also negotiating with two studios for a film based on their story, which centers on Stein's mysterious bout with shingles at the band's height and Harry's successful nursing of him back to health.
