A Perfect Circle Grabs Nine Inch Nails' Lohner, Album Title Held Up By Offspring?

(2/18/03, 1 p.m. ET) -- A Perfect Circle has grabbed Danny Lohner from Nine Inch Nails. The guitarist has replaced Troy VanLeeuwen, who is currently doing various other projects including Queens Of The Stone Age. Lohner is very familiar with APC, as they opened for Nine Inch Nails a few years ago.

The band recently added Twiggy Ramirez (real name Jeordie White), to replace Paz Lenchantin on the bass.

On its website, A Perfect Circle informed fans about the status of the new album title. "We are currently in litigation with the Offspring over this," wrote the band. "More info on this subject will be posted as it becomes available."

Calls placed to the band's publicist to confirm the litigation were not returned at press time.
