(5/15/03, 10 a.m. ET) -- Cher has once again extended her "farewell" tour--the tour that began back in January and was to have ended in late June. Now with the addition of seven concert dates, the tour will not end until mid-August. The singer-turned-actress has hinted she'd like to return to acting on Broadway when the tour ends.
Cher explained that she has many opportunities outside music. "I don't feel like I should come back,” Cher said. “I feel like this is the time to go--when I can do everything I want to do and the show is really great. And I think at some point you've got to stop because it's the law of diminishing returns. And even if you want to do it, I don't think you should because you do other things."
One of the "other things" Cher has been doing recently is acting in the upcoming Farrelly Brothers comedy, Stuck On You, tentatively scheduled to be released in December. Stuck On You is the story of Siamese twins who travel to L.A. to become famous.
