(8/23/99, 1 a.m. PDT) - While gleaming the cube in the new PlayStation game Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, players will be treated to a rockin' alternative and punk soundtrack featuring the likes of the Dead Kennedys and Goldfinger, among many shred-friendly bands.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, which combines racing, obstacle courses, graffiti mode, and a game called S-K-A-T-E (like basketball's H-O-R-S-E), is scheduled to hit stores in late September on Activision. There are no plans currently to release a soundtrack.
