(6/1/00, 1 p.m. ET) - Lit, which recorded "Over My Head" for the Titan A.E. movie soundtrack, will perform that track and others at the Staples Center arena, just before the film's Los Angeles premiere. The June 13 event marks the first time an arena has been used to host a movie premiere, and more 4,000 people are slated to attend.

The Capitol Records soundtrack, Music From the Motion Picture Titan A.E., was produced by Glen Ballard. He told LAUNCH about working with Lit and having AerosmithSteven Tyler show up for the session."Oh it was great, and it was great," Ballard said. "I couldn't have had more fun, and to be able to do a record with them and sort of caravan with them between Los Angeles, Boston, and New York where we recorded the song was entirely enjoyable. Steven Tyler happened to show up in our studio in Boston to add a background vocal. It was a perfect fit, and we were fortunate that it all worked out."

The soundtrack is due June 6 and also features tracks by Powerman 5000, Electrasy, Fun Lovin' Criminals, the Urge, Texas, Jamiroquai, Luscious Jackson, and others.
