Westside Connection Reunites

(6/19/03, 6 p.m. ET) -- The Westside Connection--made up of Ice Cube, Mack 10, and WC--is presently back in the recording studio working on a new release Terrorist Threat which will hit stores in October, according to MTV.com.

The Westside Connection released its debut set, Bow Down, in 1996. The set was certified-platinum for sales of a million copies.

In related news, Ice Cube is slated to begin filming Barbershop 2 in Chicago in July. Original cast members Eve, Sean Patrick Thomas, Michael Ealy, and Cedric The Entertainer are on board for the sequel which will also include new cast member Queen Latifah. In the original flick, Ice Cube plays a character who owns a babershop which he maintains though facing financial ruin. The sequel will most likely be set in Chicago's southside, but the plot has not yet been revealed.
