Bow Wow Says 'Let's Get Down'

(6/18/03, 3 p.m. ET) -- Rapper Bow Wow--formerly Lil' Bow Wow--will release his third solo effort, Unleashed, on July 22. The rapper recently released the lead single "Let's Get Down" featuring Baby. The song was produced by Jazze Pha and co-written by T.I.

T.I. said that he wrote 30 percent of Unleashed. "I wrote like 25-30 percent of Bow Wow album, like the first single I did like the third verse and the hook," T.I. said. "At the same time, he writing his own raps now too. He had a lot of input into it, you know. He know how to say, 'Yeah I like that or no I don't."

T.I. also said that he doesn't think Bow Wow will get caught up in the transition from teen star to adult. "He gonna do real good. I don't think he gonna caught up in that transition from a kid to an adult, you know what I'm sayin'?" T.I. added. "I think he gonna take it pretty well."

Unleashed features guest appearances from Amerie and Jagged Edge.
