(11/22/00, 10 a.m. ET) - After spending a month on the road in support of their covers album, Scattered, Smothered, And Covered, Hootie & the Blowfish are retreating to the homestead for Thanksgiving.
Bassist Dean Felber tells LAUNCH it's all about hanging with the family. "Thanksgiving's always just meant kinda going home. I pretty much left home to go to college when I was 18," he says, "so for me it's going back to Maryland/D.C. area and seeing the family and all my relatives and just spending three days together as a family. You know, that's the beauty of Thanksgiving."
Meanwhile, Hootie frontman Darius Rucker tells LAUNCH what the holiday means to him. "I got a pretty big family, so Thanksgiving was always the time when everybody-[all] the cousins--were gonna come down from Norfolk [Virginia] and we were all gonna have a big thing," he says. "Thanksgiving just has. . .I have tons of great memories about that holiday."
