Strokes Follow-Up 'Last Nite' With 'Hard To Explain'

(3/13/02, 1 p.m. ET) -- The Strokes are following up their top 10 Billboard Modern Rock Tracks single, "Last Nite," with the song "Hard To Explain." The song is also from the New York group's gold-certified debut album, Is This It. "Hard To Explain" is currently being serviced to radio modern rock stations across the country.

Meanwhile, the Strokes have rescheduled a show in San Diego that had been postponed on February 3. The band will appear at that city's 4th And B club on April 23. Ticket holders for the February show can obtain new tickets at the box office. Contact 4th And B for specifics.

The Strokes' only other U.S. concert currently on their itinerary is also in Southern California, at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in the desert city of Indio on April 29. Oasis, Foo Fighters, the Prodigy, and others also appear.

The band will also appear on The Late Show With David Letterman on April 9.
