(8/16/01, 5 p.m. ET) -- A warrant has been issued for the arrest of rapper C-Murder (Corey Miller), the younger sibling of rap mogul Master P. C-Murder--who records solo and as a third of Tru, which includes his brothers Master P and Silkk The Shocker--is being sought by authorities for allegedly shooting at two men outside of Baton Rouge, Louisiana's Club Raggs nightclub on Tuesday night (August 14).
Baton Rouge Police Spokesman Don Kelly told AP that the rapper was wanted on two counts of attempted murder and one count of illegal use of a weapon. According to police, C-Murder was told by a guard that he couldn't enter the club unless he was searched, when the owner of the club agreed with the guard, the rapper pulled out a gun and attempted to shoot the owner in the back but the gun malfunctioned. After fixing the weapon, the rapper fired one shot into the ground before leaving the scene in a sports-utility vehicle.
C-Murder is also being charged with aggravated burglary and aggravated assault for an unrelated incident on June 14, when the rapper allegedly forced his way into a Baton Rouge home and held someone at gunpoint while looking for a man who he had fought with earlier in the day.
C-Murder's last album, Trapped In Crime, was released in 2000. His first two offerings, 1998's Life Or Death and 1999's Bossalinie, were certified platinum and gold, respectively.
