Live And Tricky Live By The Same 'Simple Creed'

(8/16/01, 7 a.m. ET) -- Live and Tricky have formed a special bond--Live singer Ed Kowalczyk guested on Tricky's "Evolution Revolution Love," while the U.K. electronic artist was a guest on the York, Pennsylvania band's "Simple Creed."

Kowalczyk told LAUNCH the two share some of the same sensibilities. "York, Pennsylvania being an urban, sort of factory-driven, kind of blue-collar environment...We went to school with all...whites, blacks, Puerto Ricans, everybody, and I think that he realized it when he started hanging out with Live that he was dealing with people he can relate to," he said. "He was dealing with me and he can relate to me. There was just sort of an understanding about it. It was very strange, but very cool."

"Evolution Revolution Love" appears on Tricky's latest release Blowback, while "Simple Creed" will appear on Live's forthcoming effort V, due September 18.
