AC/DC Reschedules Cancelled Shows

(5/3/01, 3 p.m. ET) -- AC/DC is set to perform Friday's (May 4) show in Boston after the band postponed Tuesday night's (May 1) show in Madison, Wisconsin, and Wednesday night's (May 2) show in Detroit due to singer Brian Johnson's sore throat.

The band has rescheduled the two cancelled shows. The Madison date will now take place May 11, and the Detroit show is now booked for May 12. In addition, the band's Albany, New York show has been moved from May 7 to May 9.

A spokesperson for the band told LAUNCH that Johnson's throat problems are not serious.

Remaining AC/DC shows are as follows:

May 4 - Boston, MA – FleetCenter

May 5 - Philadelphia, PA - Spectrum

May 8 - New York, NY - Madison Square Garden

May 9 - Albany, NY - Pepsi Arena

May 11 - Madison, WI - Kohl Center

May 12 - Detroit, MI - Joe Louis Arena
