(2/26/03, 3 p.m. ET) -- Members of Great White have been subpoenaed in the ongoing investigation into last week's deadly club fire in Rhode Island. The Associated Press is reporting that unnamed musicians from the group have been served papers and plan to appear next week before a grand jury that's expected to be seated Wednesday (February 26).
It was unknown whether the owners of the Station, the club in West Warwick where the fire took place, have also been subpoenaed. Michael and Jeffrey Derderian have not been as cooperative as authorities would have liked, according to state Attorney General Patrick Lynch.
The fire at the club was seemingly caused by Great White's pyro equipment. Ninety-seven people died in the blaze, including guitarist Ty Longley, with almost 200 others injured. The group claims it had permission for the equipment, which the club's management denies.
