Vertical Horizon Launches Latest Round Of Tour Dates

(2/1/01, 1 p.m. ET) - Vertical Horizon kicks off its latest round of dates in support of its smash album Everything You Want tonight (February 1) in Providence, Rhode Island. The group will play 39 dates through early March, including a performance for fans attending World Championship Wrestling (WCW)'s Monday Night Nitro in Panama City, Florida, on March 25.

Sister Hazel serves as the support act on most dates.

Vertical Horizon guitarist Keith Kane admits to LAUNCH that touring is not always as glamorous as it seems to the outside world. "We get to see beautiful places around the country and the world, we get to see friends on a regular basis, and the best part is we get to perform every night in front of very energetic and excited crowds," he says. "But then again, we don't get to see people that we care about that we want to see on a daily basis, and, you know, I live with seven other guys in a tour bus, which can be wearing on you. We live out of bags, we have to put toilet paper on all the toilet seats, and all that fun stuff."

Kane adds, "It's definitely a hard and intense way to live."
