Talking Heads To Reunite For Rock Hall Induction

(2/5/02, 7 a.m. ET) -- The members of Talking Heads will reunite for a performance when the group is inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame next month. David Byrne, Jerry Harrison, Tina Weymouth, and Chris Frantz have agreed to play two songs at the ceremony, which takes place at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City on March 18.

In a post on the talking-heads.net message board, singer-bassist Weymouth hints at the bandmembers' less-than happy history when she writes, "Just relax and feel good in the moment. It's going to be a great party and everyone should let bygones be bygones."

As for which songs the band will play, singer-bassist Weymouth writes, "We haven't yet figured out which two songs, but Chris and I are thinking there should be a prize--something really good from our personal collection of TH antiquities--for the person(s) who guesses both correctly. Good luck ALL!"
