Fat Joe And R. Kelly Team Up For 'We Thuggin''

(9/7/01, 5 p.m. ET) -- Rapper Fat Joe, who was responsible for launching the career of the late Big Pun, is set to release the first single, "We Thuggin'" featuring R. Kelly, from his forthcoming album, J.O.S.E. (Jealous Ones Still Envy), due out December 4. The duo recently shot a video for "We Thuggin'" with director Billie Woodruff, and the clip will be released to video outlets shortly.

Fat Joe has been through some turbulent times in recent years, including the death of his protege Big Pun and Cuban Link's defection from the ranks of Joe's Terror Squad collective. In addition, the Terror Squad's self-titled 1999 album failed to live up to expectations. Fat Joe's last album, 1998's Don Cartagena, was certified gold for sales of 500,000 copies.
