3 Doors Down Announce Tour With Tantric And Lifehouse

(5/26/01, 10 a.m. ET) -- 3 Doors Down has booked a summer tour with special guests Tantric and Lifehouse. The trek starts June 28 in Trenton, New Jersey and runs through August 8 in Memphis, Tennessee.

3 Doors Down's hit song "Kryptonite"came out last year. The band is now promoting its fourth single, "Be Like That," which is also the lead track on the American Pie 2 soundtrack. The latest single off the multiplatinum The Better Life arrives at radio Tuesday (May 29).

Vocalist Brad Arnold told LAUNCH what's been the most fulfilling part of being on the road. "I heard some pretty cool stories. Just different things people tell you of how much your songs either help 'em or mean to 'em or something along those lines," he said. "Or maybe it's the first band they've ever been into, or maybe it's their first rock 'n' roll show or something. You just want to make it memorable for 'em. I guess that's the best thing for me."
