Ice Cube Chasing 'Benjamins'

(1/19/01, 7 a.m. ET) - Ice Cube is set to start filming All About The Benjamins in March. The rapper-actor will team up again with Mike Epps, who first appeared alongside Cube in Next Friday. In the new action-comedy, Cube will play a bounty hunter and Epps a bail jumper who find themselves in a string of unfortunate circumstances.

Cube reportedly terminated his movie deal with New Line Cinema after the company was less than thrilled with a number of his story ideas. Therefore, Benjamins does not have a distributor yet.

On the music side, Ice Cube's most recent album, 2000's War & Peace Vol. 2 (The Peace Disc), has sold more than 898,000 copies, according to industry sources. He also appeared on albums from E-40 and Mack 10 last year.
