(9/13/00, 6 p.m. ET) - C-Murder's Trapped In Crime entered the pop music charts at Number Nine this week, making it the highest debut of the week. But the New Orleans rapper isn't afraid to acknowledge some of the other artists he feels are among the best hip-hop acts.

C-Murder told LAUNCH about some of the artists he respects and enjoys. "Dudes like DMX, Scarface, Dr. Dre, Eminem--just people that's really out there doing it and that's real talented," he said. "I look at a person, not just a hit record, but how talented he is with a whole album. That's why I like some of them dudes."

Trapped In Crime is the third album from C-Murder, who is Master P's younger brother. The album sold more than 75,000 copies its first week of release. C-Murder's first two albums, 1998's Life Or Death and 1999's Bossalinie, were certified platinum and gold, respectively.

C-Murder also appeared on "Wobble Wobble," the lead single from the 504 Boyz's Goodfellas album, which has sold more than 790,000 copies, according to industry sources.
