Queens Of The Stone Age Wraps Up Secret North American Tour

(6/14/02, 6 p.m. ET) - Queens Of The Stone Age wrapped up its "Secret Club Tour" in San Francisco on Sunday (June 16), which was in support of its forthcoming album, Songs For The Deaf. The band, which currently features Dave Grohl on drums, has European tour dates booked starting June 22 in Germany. A majority of those shows will be festival appearances.
Songs For The Deaf is now scheduled for an August 13 release, a week earlier than originally planned. The 15 brand-new songs include: "The Real Song For The Deaf," "Millionaire," "No One Knows," "First It Giveth_#1," "Song For The Dead," "Sky Is Falling," "Six Shooter," "Hangin' Tree," "Go With The Flow," "Gonna Leave You," "Do It Again," "God," "Another Love Song," "Song For The Deaf," and "Mosquito Song."
Meanwhile, Queens Of The Stone Age has changed the name of its "street team" of devoted fan from the Addicts to the Young Toughs.
