03/04/2003 10:00 AM, Yahoo! Music Darren Davis
(3/4/03, 10 a.m. ET) -- Matchbox Twenty and Sugar Ray will kick off a tour starting April 25 in Little Rock, Arkansas. The tour will end July 6 in Raleigh, North Carolina, and Maroon5 will open dates through May 31. Tickets go on sale for select cities March 7.
Matchbox Twenty will be out supporting its latest album, More Than You Think You Are, and its next single "Unwell" has been received well at various radio formats. The band will start the tour one day earlier in New Orleans at the UNO Lakefront Arena.
Sugar Ray's still-untitled album is set for release June 3, but the band has recorded at least 12 songs. The gem of the bunch so far is a cover of Joe Jackson's "Is She Really Going Out With Him." Other songs, tentatively titled, include: "Heaven," "Songbird," "56th Hope Street," and "Chasin' You Around," among others.
