Public Enemy, Blackalicious & Dilated Peoples To Hit The Road

(9/4/02, 4 p.m. ET) -- Rap veterans Public Enemy, underground favorites Dilated Peoples, and newcomers Blackalicious will launch a tour on September 18 at the Metropol in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Public Enemy is on the road in support of its latest album, Revolverlution.

Blackalicious, which began the year on tour with Talib Kweli, is currently on the Sprite Liquid Mix tour, which also includes Jay-Z, 311, N.E.R.D., and Nappy Roots.

Blackalicious's sophomore set, Blazing Arrow, came out in April and features appearances by Talib Kweli, Tracey Moore, Zach de la Rocha, ?uestlove, Ben Harper, Gil Scott-Heron, Rakaa-Iriscience, and DJ Shadow.

Dilated Peoples is currently between releases but groupmember DJ Babu recently released a mix CD, titled Duck Season, Vol. 1, on Sequence Records.

October 11 - San Francisco, CA - The Fillmore
