Trick Daddy Says President Clinton Was A Thug

(3/22/01, 1 p.m. ET) -- Trick Daddy released his third album, Thugs R Us, on Tuesday (March 20). The first single from the album, "Take It To Da House," is currently Number 91 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.

LAUNCH recently spoke with the Florida-based rapper, who shared his thoughts on former President Bill Clinton: "Bill Clinton was a thug. He wasn't no thug because he was no killer or he sold no drugs or nothing like that. Bill Clinton was a thug because he did what he wanted to do. You know, you gonna do what you want to do as long as you're happy within yourself. I mean, Bill Clinton made history, you know what I'm sayin'?"

Trick Daddy's two previous albums, www.thug.com and Book Of Thugs: Chapter AK Verse 47, both went gold for sales of 500,000 copies.
