(11/20/01, 3 p.m. ET) -- Teenage rapper Lil' Bow Wow is set to release his sophomore album, Doggy Bag, on December 18. The young star recently shot a video for the first single from the set, "Thank You," in Chicago. The footage features the rapper going around and thanking his fans for their support and his success.
Doggy Bag was produced and written primarily by Jermaine Dupri, but Lil' Bow Wow chimed in and wrote his own lyrics for the last few songs recorded. Lil' Bow Wow did not create any of the lyrics for his double-platinum debut set, Beware Of Dog, which was penned primarily by Dupri, who also wrote hits for teen rappers Kris Kross.
Some of the featured guests on Doggy Bag include Jagged Edge, Fundisha, the Neptunes, Khim Davis, Aaliyah Minter, Lil' Corey, R.O.C., Tigah, Da Brat, and Xscape.
In related news, Lil' Bow Wow will star in the upcoming Fox film, Like Mike, which is scheduled for release in June. The rapper will play the role of a young child who finds a pair of basketball sneakers that allow him to play at a level comparable to Michael Jordan. Lil' Bow Wow is also set to launch his new clothing line, Bow Ware, in June as well.
