Gorillaz And Fatboy Slim Top Billboard Video Awards

(11/5/01, 4 p.m. ET) -- Fatboy Slim's clip for "Weapon Of Choice" and Gorillaz video for "Clint Eastwood" were the top winners at Friday night's (November 2) Billboard Video Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. Both videos received three awards.
Fatboy Slim's "Weapon Of Choice," which features a dancing Christopher Walken, was awarded best pop clip, best dance clip, and best modern rock clip. Gorillaz, the animated band masterminded by Blur's Damon Albarn, took home best rap/hip-hop new artist clip, best modern rock new artist clip, and the Maximum Vision Award, which honors the video that best advances an artist's career.
Nelly Furtado took home the award for best pop new artist clip of the year for the video to "I'm Like A Bird," and Aerosmith's "Jaded" won for best hard rock clip of the year.
